Electrolux Supporting Our Community

As a global company we recognise and embrace the opportunity we have to make a difference throughout various levels of community.

The Electrolux vision is to make life easier and more enjoyable with the help of powered appliances. As a company we recognise that respect and diversity, ethics and integrity, safety and sustainability are all major elements in accomplishing and maintaining this goal.

Electrolux provides assistance to the community and individual charities that share common values and aim to have a positive affect on the lives of Australian people.

In conjunction with this initiative an online application service is available to ensure that all requests for charitable involvement are viewed and responded to sufficiently. Electrolux receives a large number of appeals for both product and monetary funds. We focus on three main areas of support:

  • National/Corporate
  • Local/Community
  • Employee Programs

  • Unfortunately, not all levels of correspondence can be approved but to be considered for sponsorships or charitable support please complete the online application form.

Your application for assistance will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible.

    Electrolux in the community

    National/Corporate

As a nationally recognised company Electrolux has the resources to support major charity organisations. Although we can’t be involved in all charitable activity, the donation of appliances or sponsorship may be a possibility if the mission and values of the individual corporation are relevant to the direction of Electrolux.

Electrolux and The Children’s Cancer Institute Australia

It’s an alarming and devastating statistic that more than 600 Australia children will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone. Unfortunately, there is no cure and current treatment strategies can make the children suffering the disease weak and ill.

The Children’s Cancer Institute Australia is dedicated to researching the causes, building prevention strategies, implementing better treatments and ultimately finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Electrolux supports The Children’s Cancer Institute Australia as our major charitable focus and endeavours to assist their journey to bettering the lives of young Australian sufferers and their families.

In the past, Electrolux has also assisted and supported:

  • Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children
  • AEIOU Foundation
  • Australian Red Cross
  • Guide Dogs Australia
  • Starlight Children's Foundation
  • Geodis Wilson Australia
  • Cure Cancer Australia Fundation

  • Local/Community

Local/Community organisations and groups often work towards similar goals and outcomes as the major groups. Electrolux recognises that assistance is equally as crucial for these teams but unfortunately can’t fund involvement in all community activity.

    Previously Electrolux has supported:

  • Ronald McDonald House – Orange
  • Clergate Public School
  • Mascot Public School
  • Japan earthquake Appeal
  • Foodbank NSW
  • Victorian Bushfire Appeal
  • Cancer Council of Victoria
  • Salvation Army Victoria
  • The Children's hospital at Westmead
