There’s no doubt about it. Making sure our body’s water level is constantly topped up is a sure-fire way to keep us healthier. But how much water should we drink each day? And what about other drinks, do they count? Check out the answers below and start refreshing your body.
How much to stay hydrated?
There is still quite a lot of debate as to how much water we should drink every day. And much of it depends on our weight, environment and the amount of exercise we do. But in general, if the average person drinks around eight 250ml glasses of water every day, they shouldn’t suffer any dehydration effects.
Spice it up a bit
If you find that amount of water is getting a little boring, you can always add a bit of fresh lemon or lime to give it flavour. But try to avoid manufactured canned drinks as these generally have too much added sugar.
Keep it pure
