1. Favourite breakfast spot
Comida in the Central Markets here in Adelaide is my favourite brekkie joint. They do a killer breakfast in the morning, then transition into a Spanish tapas bar from midday onwards.
2.For lunch and dinner
It’s hard to go past a quick visit to China Town for lunch. I recommend places like BBQ City and Chef Lai Noodle Bar. For dinner I really dig Osteria Oggi - it’s a pasta bar which does super fresh and tasty food.
3.And to drink?
My favourite bars are Clever Little Tailor and Pink Moon Saloon. Both have beautiful interiors and offer some interesting drinks which you won’t find anywhere else.
We are pretty blessed when it comes to markets in South Australia. You can’t go past the Central Markets in the middle of the city which is a one-stop-shop for seafood, meats, fruit and vegetables, Asian produce and more.
5. Best coffee?
I actually don’t drink coffee so I’m probably not the best café judge! I do like Larry and Ladd in Regent Arcade - they do awesome cheeseburger toasties and I hear the coffee is good too.
6. What produce is South Australia famous for?
Again, we are pretty lucky with amount of awesome produce in South Australia. We have world-class seafood, amazing beef, lamb and cheeses.
7. For the holidaymaker, what are the must-visit destinations?
I think the SA wine regions should be on the travel hit list. Barossa is absolutely incredible with amazing history but there is also a lot happening in the Adelaide Hills with new restaurants and wine bars popping up. Do both if you can!
