Taste of Sydney
Taste of Sydney in partnership with Electrolux, returns to Centennial Parklands March 9 – 12 2017. Celebrating the best of Sydney’s dining scene in one place, with more than fifty dishes from the city’s finest restaurants, there’s something for everyone.
New to 2017, offering a choice of three delicious dishes plus their limited edition ‘icon dishes’, will include Paddington’s newest seafood restaurant Saint Peter and head chef Josh Niland. Turkish favourite Anason and the yet to open and highly anticipated 12 Micron, also from the CBD there will be tastings from Bouche on Bridge and Mercado. Latin American restaurant Tequila Mockingbird and Mediterranean influenced Banksii Vermouth Bar & Bistro are also new to the 2017 lineup, as well as fine-diners Gastro Park. Returning this year will be Kensington Street Social’s Robert Daniels and Tony Gibson, Guillaume Brahimi (Four in Hand) and Matt Moran, as well as the freshly re-opened Porteño with Chef Ben Milgate, and Nelly Robinson (Nel). Tickets on sale now for the six sessions running over four days.
Electrolux Chefs' Secrets
Take the opportunity to cook with a professional chef at Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets, giving food lovers a glimpse into the minds of Australia's top chefs. The Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets is an intimate masterclass where guests can cook alongside their favourite chefs and learn how to cook one of their signature dishes, before sitting down to enjoy the meal together with the chef.
Electrolux Taste Theatre
Enjoy live cooking demonstrations by some of Australia’s leading chefs, including: Nathan Sasi (Mercado), Josh Niland (Saint Peter), Nelly Robinson (nel.), Grant King (Gastro Park), Somer Sivirioglu (Anason/Efendy) and many more. The chefs will share their favourite recipes on the latest cooking appliances from Electrolux.
