Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrated Ok, so I've had it for 2 years, and we don't go to hard, an egg for the kids for breakfast, boiling rice and spuds for dinner, but it's never worked properly from day one, just little things....like mentioned below in other reviews. Turns itself off, can't cook with multiple pots as it self adjusts the temp, now I have the E! and E8 coming up now and can't cook an egg, for $2,000 I do expect better value for money. Should I have had it seen to sooner, yes I should have but then it would come good for a while. Getting it fixed tomorrow, I'll have a crack at just being out of warranty, but can't see me buying another one.....sorry, $2,000 is just too much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very good when the unit is working I replaced the cooktop two months after warranty ran out due to major failure. I replaced with new unit (same model). The new cooktop failed again with exactly the same problem. This second unit had a extended warranty which has still to be resolved after two and a half months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Difficult to manage heat settings. There is no setting for simmer. Water spills onto co trols makes it go straight to highest heat setting. Control malfunction means i have to push three settings simultaneously to start the cooktop. Electrolus service worst ever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable. Lots of error codes Cooking zones small and easy to knock pot off when stirring. Turns itself off, and if pot has been sitting near controls the surface is too hot to hold the lock button for 3 seconds to turn it back on. Have had to have repaired several times with E9 errors. As we live 10 minutes outside Canberra Electrolux cannot supply a repair man. Very frustrating. Would not purchase again, mainly as it is unreliable and turns itself off while cooking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great introduction to induction We are very happy to now cook using induction and this cook top is great. If I'm going to be critical I would say that I wish there was better connection between the cooking zones when using two zone while cooking with large pans. They can easily be 'bumped' out of one of the zones while stirring. We have also found that the feature that senses when a pot has boiled dry and turns off, doesn't happen either. Still very happy with our puchase. It wipes down beautifully, looks as good as the day we got it and heats very quickly.
