Not What I expected from Electrolux
I bought this model from Harvey Norman on the 8th Of March i had originally ordered the EBE4507SA-R as it had received positive reviews.
I have had and my family previous Electrolux fridges and they have been really good. This model is noisy. It will consistently make a load sounding motor noise and the fridge has not been opened or touched.
I have called customer care twice and they advised me that Electrolux fridges are not quite like they use to be and its due to the refrigerant and efficient motor currently used.
They referred me to your manual which has this warning.
I was also warned if i do get a technician to come out and look and they hear nothing they will not be happy and their is nothing that can be done about this as its the design.
The fridge looks nice and keeps cool and apart from the noise feels well built.
I have had it for nearly 3 months as the customer service consultant said it may stop after a few months.
I am just disappointed as it was not making these noises when I was looking at the older model at Harvey Norman.
For the price I paid their was other brands that I could have bought that do not make this type of noise.
